Moga didn’t make a very good first impression in the iOS 7 controller space. Plagued by the typical new-category teething issues, the Ace Power launched to mostly negative reviews last fall despite its large built-in battery and dual analog joysticks.

It’s been nearly three weeks since developer Dong Nguyen pulled Flappy Bird from the App Store, but its presence is still very much felt in the Top Charts. It seems every other day another clone of Nguyen’s hit game pops up in the list of the most popular apps.

That’s not too surprising though, considering that according to The Guardian, a big chunk of new iOS games are Flappy Bird clones. How big of a chunk? Well, looking at a group of 300 new games over 24 hours, the outlet says that one-third were FB knockoffs…(…)

Google updated the iOS client for its popular messaging platform Hangouts today, bringing the app to version 2.0. The update brings about a number of improvements including full optimization for the iPad and iOS 7 and more.

If you fancy yourself any kind of Apple fan, or movie fan, you have to be excited about Sony’s upcoming biopic of Steve Jobs. Not only is it being written by Academy Award-winner Aaron Sorkin, but it’s now being rumored that David Fincher has signed on to direct the film.

Fincher directed the hit Facebook flick ‘The Social Network,’ which Sorkin also wrote, and also directs and produces Netflix’s critically-acclaimed drama House of Cards. So needless to say, adding him to the production team of the Jobs biopic would be a major move for Sony…(…)

The Twitter offshoot social networking site offers extraordinary creativity in the form of bite-size videos, but also provides us with silly dog clips and some very bizarre insight into people’s lives. I’ve always wanted to be able to download some of the more interesting Vines that show up. Now I can.

Apple has released an update for iTunes this afternoon, bringing the software to version 11.1.5. Don’t get too excited though, it appears to just be a maintenance release with only a handful of improvements.
